It allows for testing products such as bespoke software across many different operating systems with ease via one machine. This is very useful as software generally is required for to be available on many different operating systems and this allows for us to test these software without much financial costs as we do not have to purchase any extra equipment such as new computers simply to run another operating system and we can easily use this software to run all of these operating systems on one computer without much of a hassle. Get it. This is by far my favorite VM software to work on when testing new security feature and security flaws and bugs. The internal networking is easy to use and the easy of saving an images is just a few clicks. As an end user, I've found VMware Workstation Pro to meet and exceed my needs. Yes, it is slightly difficult to learn how to set it up and use it initially but once everything is configured appropriately it is a breeze to use. Beyond the initial setup there is very little that you have to keep doing to manage the software and it becomes second nature to take snapshots, pause and resume your virtual machines whenever necessary. At my organization, I do software demonstrations on a daily basis and we utilize virtual machines to demonstrate our product. I really recommend you to use it at work. WMWare for me is the Apple of virtualisation. They have a really good user interface. The customer service at VMWare is always good.
