What do you like best about VMware Workstation Pro?

Easy to install, manage and configure. There's nothing you can virtualize with this product of vmware. I am using this for roughly ten years and it still amazed me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware Workstation Pro?

What do you like best about VMware Workstation Player?

The ease of setting up a new virtual machine. The settings are easily accessible and changeable when first setting it up. Once the VM is setup, I am able to quickly change settings as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware Workstation Player?

Can lag in its performance for unknown reasons. I am unsure but VMware may use up more physical hardware than competitors when running virtual machines. Also find it allows VirtualBox networks to interfere with its settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VMware Workstation Pro?

VMWare Workstation lets you create and manage various configurations and basic settings for your virtual machine. Still, you can also define multiple virtual machines and attach to different types of networking. It also lets you easily define port forwarding rules in the virtual network editor or taking and managing snapshots of the state of your VM/work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VMware Workstation Pro?

Sometimes it doesn't manage the Windows updates correctly and when you restart the VM, it doesn't work anymore, raising processor-related errors and you have to configure the VM with a single core to be able to start it and remove the update. What do you like best about VMware Workstation Pro?

You can move VMs from ESXi and vSphere seamlessly to the desktop and do troubleshooting if needed there. Networking features are great, can simulate VLANs and more complex architectures out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface is very easy to understand, User can deploy IOS in a VMWare workstation, and a lot of features and the best hypervisor and scalable. You can customize the virtual machine specifications. I set up Microsoft Server 2019 and Kali Linux machine. As Penetration Tester complete many projects through this product.
