What do you like best about Veeam Backup for AWS?

What do you dislike about Veeam Backup for AWS?

Veeam Backup for AWS can be costly, depending on the number of sockets you have. Also, it needs to improve support for database backups such as PostgreSQL and handle parallel backups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Veeam Backup for AWS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Veeam Backup for AWS protects and secures data by backing up in scheduled intervals, especially for our EC2 and EFS workloads. It integrates well with native AWS storage solutions such as S3, and Glacier Deep Archive, which is needed for long-term retention and compliance requirements. What do you like best about Veeam Backup for AWS?

It has made lives easier as while working in different circumstances leads to different issues with the cloud services. Sometimes mistakenly things are deleted, its very necessary to have a proper backup to keep our things more secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Backup for AWS?

Time constraint is a thing, while restoring files it sometimes takes a lot of time to restore and only resotes perfectly while no one is working on the cloud. It would be great if it could be more faster restoring and takes less internet usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Veeam Backup for AWS?

Initially, the user interface for the system takes a little while to get used to. Though its navigation took some time to understand, it is also simple once consolidated, and miles better than previous backup solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Previous complex solutions were obviously already frustrating, but took away available time to address other work and concerns. In a fast moving environment going through a lot of chance which required a lot or resourcing from our dev team, removing time being consumed on standard backup practice was invaluable. What do you like best about Veeam Backup for AWS?

I find Veeam miles ahead of any other competitor. We use Veeam backup and replication for every client that joins us. We have experienced great success with the product, and clients are happy with the results when we move them over to Veeam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Backup for AWS?

Due to the inability to customize the dashboard, adding shortcuts to menu items would be beneficial. Having the option to change where active backup jobs show would be helpful.
