What problems is Veeam Backup for AWS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Veeam is a specific product to set up and use. It is mighty when recovering from backup. We primarily use it to recover individual files or emails from Exchange. The interface is intuitive for users of all levels. Their support is also top-notch, and I always get someone to talk to when I need to call in. The software allows the setup of multiple repositories, eliminating the need for DFS replication across network sites. Updates are handled quickly, and notifications are communicated effectively. The one negative issue I have experienced is that when recovering files, the interface moves slowly when loading a large set of data into the backup browser. However, the files are there every time, and no corruption has happened, so I can only offer a little patience for such an excellent service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike about it is the fact that scaling up becomes rather costly as you keep increasing the workloads you take backups of. For smaller organizations, this can become a very expensive solution. Another aspect I did not like was that Veeam limits your EC2 configuration to a specific set. The ease of implementation is fantastic; the documentation makes it even easier; usually, when I used to back up, the files were prone to have many config issues, which made restoration very painful; with the help of Veenam, the backups are errorless. 90% of the time, the restoration failed due to config issues which made backups a dreadful task, but with Veenam, I have never experienced any failure until now. Also, previously I used to hesitate to use any third-party software to store backups due to the threat of sensitive data or leaks, but with Veenam's strict data policy, the concern is out of the way.
