It is very simple to use- pretty much set and forget
It also addresses some of the drawbacks or restrictions that submitting manually via search console has.
In particular with URL monitor it seamlessly scans your sitemap, gives you a list of hundreds of URLS - and you let the software submit them all for indexing.
Then you can check back later and see how it is progressing
If you try doing that manually:
*You cant submit that many urls in one go, and
*It takes a long time
So it's a time saver AND it gets more pages indexed
Example: One larger site (shopify site) got an extra 795 pages indexed by using this process.
Lastly URL monitor automatically makes sure that new pages are submitted and lets you know if pages are dropped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike having to add 5 extra user accounts to the search console admin. I understand why they are needed and that the restriction is Google's not theirs. It just looks ugly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have a lot of different types of websites, some with just a few pages on them, and others with thousands of pages on them. I needed to find a good solutions to get those pages indexed quicker, without having to wait for Google to find them, and without the need for me to manually ping Google for each page.
The fast indexing of ULR Monitor is what I like the most. It's all hands-off and is done automatically. One of my sites has 4,568 pages indexed, and more pages are added everyday. Only 1.11% of the site's pages are not yet indexed.
It was also very easy to set-up in my GSC. A very simply process. I did run into a question while doing so, and customer support was very responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only suggestion would be to make it easier to download reports for larger sites (like the one I mention in this review). I imagine the report is a large file, so it takes time to prepare. But making that process quicker would be good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
URL Monitor did what Google Search Console failed to do since the moment I started using it. No matter how many sitemaps I published, I couldn't get all of my URLs on Google. URL Monitor made it happen. The best part? I didn't have to be constantly involved! It was easy to set up and works like a charm. I would recommend it to anyone who is tired of fighting with Bing Webmaster and Google Search Console and just wants to get their URLs seen! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing so far. I was a little uneasy initially with the level of permissions I had to give but so far so good! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The URL Monitor simplifies tracking which URLs are yet to be indexed by Google. Previously, I relied on custom Google Sheets tools to monitor indexing status, but with URL Monitor, the process has become much more streamlined. It allows me to easily track URLs, and with a single click, I can submit any non-indexed URLs for Google indexing. The tool offers both manual and automatic submission options.
The URL Monitor also sends email notifications when URLs are deindexed or removed from Google's index, which is extremely helpful for taking quick corrective actions. This feature has been instrumental in helping me increase traffic by ensuring more URLs remain indexed.
Setup takes only 2-3 minutes, you just need to authenticate it with Google Search Console to fetch the indexing data. The dashboard’s UI/UX is user-friendly, offering a clear overview of indexed and deindexed URLs at a glance. I typically use it 2-3 times a week.
Lastly, the support team is responsive and ensures all queries are promptly addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Currently, the tool doesn't support URLs that you don't own. This means if you're building backlinks and want to index them, you can't use this tool for that purpose. I checked their roadmap and found that they are going to add this feature in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
URL Monitor has made a significant difference in simplifying website performance tracking compared to using Google Webmaster Central. The interface provides clear and actionable insights into the indexing status of each page, including reasons why a page may not be indexed and when it was last updated. The page-level checks and straightforward communication save time and improve efficiency. Now, the whole process runs on autopilot, and if an issue arises, I have the information needed to resolve it quickly. URL Monitor has truly streamlined the workflow and boosted my confidence in managing SEO performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Adding more granular insights into why specific pages struggle with indexing could be helpful. For example, suggestions on how to fix issues could go beyond basic error reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about URL Monitor is its intuitive interface, which makes setting up and managing website monitoring quick and effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike about URL Monitor is that the page can sometimes take a long time to load, and there’s no option to export data to a file, which limits data management options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best way I've found to have visibility of what pages are and aren't indexed AND to then quickly remedy that. Very easy to use and can set sites to send all pages automatically where appropriate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can take a few days for pages to be added... that's more a reflection of my impatience though. Adding the 'random' users to GSC can cause clients to panic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I just verify my domains for the Google Search Console and URL Monitor does the indexing of new sites very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have too many domains ;) So it`s is very difficult to choose .... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A few bugs here and there. There's still a lot of room for improvement but good thing that the team is consistently updating the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
