"URL Monitor: URL Indexing Made Simple"

What do you like best about URL Monitor?

The URL Monitor simplifies tracking which URLs are yet to be indexed by Google. Previously, I relied on custom Google Sheets tools to monitor indexing status, but with URL Monitor, the process has become much more streamlined. It allows me to easily track URLs, and with a single click, I can submit any non-indexed URLs for Google indexing. The tool offers both manual and automatic submission options.

The URL Monitor also sends email notifications when URLs are deindexed or removed from Google's index, which is extremely helpful for taking quick corrective actions. This feature has been instrumental in helping me increase traffic by ensuring more URLs remain indexed.

Setup takes only 2-3 minutes, you just need to authenticate it with Google Search Console to fetch the indexing data. The dashboard’s UI/UX is user-friendly, offering a clear overview of indexed and deindexed URLs at a glance. I typically use it 2-3 times a week.

What do you dislike about URL Monitor?

Currently, the tool doesn't support URLs that you don't own. This means if you're building backlinks and want to index them, you can't use this tool for that purpose. I checked their roadmap and found that they are going to add this feature in the near future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is URL Monitor solving and how is that benefiting you?

The URL Monitor solves the problem of efficiently tracking and managing which URLs are indexed in Google. In the past, I had to rely on custom tools like Google Sheets to monitor indexing status, which was time-consuming and less streamlined. Now, with URL Monitor, I can easily track URLs and submit non-indexed ones for indexing with just one click, saving me a significant amount of time and effort.

Additionally, the email notifications about deindexed URLs allow me to take quick action and re-submit them, ensuring that more of my URLs remain indexed, which ultimately boosts my website traffic.
