"Stack Overflow has been great as a new employee at my company"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I've used Stack Overflow for 6 months now and as new starter at my company it's a great tool to collaborate with colleagues and find answers to questions when I wasn't sure where to look - a situation that can be quite common among new starters at any companies. What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

UX could be more user-friendly, it would be good to have additional options for categorisation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Invaluable tool for companies and teams"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I like that I get rewarded for asking and answering questions (rep) and getting the reward of not having to re-answer the same question a dozen times. There's also the benefit of knowing that the more I use it, the more others will use it, and therefore the more likely it is that the question I have will already exist and will have an answer when I am looking for it. Not to mention the times that I ask and answer a question and then forget the answer in six months and can come back and see the answer I left for my future self. What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

It needs a sort of critical mass of interested users. If you go there and there's a bunch of unanswered questions and your question never gets attention/answers you're probably not going to go back. Initial implementation is precarious and can easily just die on the vine. The number 1 thing you need is a core group of dedicated experts to help drive adoption. Basically, get the people who are being asked the most questions the most often and get them to drive adoption. This can be a hard sell for some people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Freemium version is good enought for mos of the things but sometimes you really need to have paid version which is kind of expensive considering users of the Stackoverflow for teams are companies that has more than 100 developers. It makes this product very expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rich with great features compiled in an easy to use platform"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

The ability to create tagged questions and answers that we can reuse later as our team's knowledge base is perfect. Also, the team's administration settings and personalization are powerful and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I don't dislike anything important far. It is all good to me, and a great asset to our team's future knowledge base; one thing to improve maybe the invitation emails should be sent from a sender mail represents more StackOverflow as people thought the sender was spam when I sent invitations. What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I know we have the Slack integration, and we are working on it to use it better, but the need for a new website and maybe the price. I'm not saying it doesn't add value, it adds for sure but is a blocker to make my company purchase one more think to work. Would be interesting a roll-out plan. Like we have 50 free spaces and on the first year you only pay for the spaces above it. So changing from 50 people to 51 would be a difference of 6$ and not 306$ =D Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great place for knowledge transfer"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Stack Overflow for Teams acts as a kind of mix between a forum and a Wiki, where the pages organically become living documents. The questions specific to private codebases help with getting up to speed and fixing issues more quickly. It is also helpful in identifying key maintainers in specific areas of the code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Everything working as expected so far. There needs to be a certain number of active people on the site for it to be very useful, so maybe there could be a way to incentivise users to join. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
