"Works like a charm, so far"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Easily share questions with the entire product development team without bombarding a single colleague with questions. Also tags are really useful in making sure only relevant messages go to the right teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Search function is not as helpful as I was expecting, also integrations are limited which made me rely on Zapier to push messages to Google chats. In addition I would really like to be able to filter where notifications go based on tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Stack Overflow for Teams has been a blessing"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

It's an intuitive way to save our collective knowledge. We are all used to looking stuff up on Stack Overflow and the ability to see if someone asked that before without wading through 5+ outdated Confluence documentations is just great. I'm happy my company signed up for this because every time I left a detailed answer on a Jira ticket or Confluence article I felt it would promptly get lost forever. Now people actually read my answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Mail spam could be better, I don't need to know about everything going on by default. Organization into sub categories could be better, as it stands I'm not really sure if we can have separate "component" spaces though it might not be totally necessary with correct tagging. "Great platform for reduction of frequent software questions"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I like the search function the best. The query parameter makes it super easy to search for either a vague topic or something super specific. I prefer this service compared to another similar platform I've used, Tettra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

It can be a little tricky to make sure you're searching for Team Specific Q&A vs the community wide Q&A.

That said, I think both are pretty important to have access to but just make sure you're searching in the right section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes using a wiki feel like 1982"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I really like how easy it is to find information that is highly specific to our team. The ability to search on tags, keywords, and subject matter makes finding the right answer to a question or common scenario in our environments very easy. We can have different answers for different environments, edit those answers as the technical needs change, and keep answers current. And I like that it is a format and user experience that all of our developers are used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

There was a big change to SO for Teams a while back that caused my user to break. I had to create a new user, losing the connection to questions and answers that were in our Teams instance. It's trivial, but annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game Changer for My Organization"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

Stack Overflow for Teams allows my organization to finally leverage the many benefits of Stack Overflow for our internal use cases. We have a variety of platforms that are used across the organization for storing information. The search capabilities for these platforms vary drastically. Stack Overflow for Teams provides a single location where users can search and ask questions instead of executing keyword searches across multiple platforms. In addition to the core features and benefits, Stack Overflow for Teams provides suggestions for improving our content, from writing better questions to effective tag management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

The integration with Microsoft Teams is a little lackluster. In general, it would be great to see more/improved opportunities for connecting Stack Overflow for Teams with other platforms to assist with directing users back to Stack Overflow for Teams for questions and answers. "Good experience"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

I like the content sharing it allow. It's another approach unlike trello or wiki. It's a more collaborative method in my view. I like the support around it too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

What I disliked in the product start was the need to be on StackOverflow to be able to see SO for Team, but this year it was changed luckilly to a stand alone portal. It feel more standalone and it bring a balance if you want a personnal account on SO vs a corporate account on SO for Team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

UI is not so friendly and for enterprise version it is a bit confusing to login to your own teams stack wall. And could be great if a question has an ID in it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"simple, familiar product"
What do you like best about Stack Overflow for Teams?

It is easy to use and the format is familiar. Teams can produce solutions fastly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Stack Overflow for Teams?

The format is useful for simple bottlenecks and I do not know where stackoverflow position itself with this product. If one is expected to use this platform just like the main product (stackoverflow) then it lacks some crucial tools for team needs. A team needs more structured, longer solution flow in my opininon and as far as I have used this product, I could not get to see something like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
