What do you like best about ScalePad Backup Radar?

Having a single, easy-to-read report daily that summarises various integrated backup platforms across all our MSP customers. The ability to automate ticket creation and resolution for backup issues. Notably, the ability to create tickets on our PSA where no alert (failure or success) is received within the expected schedule also allows us to address issues that alerting doesn't flag up.

What do you like best about ScalePad ControlMap?

ControlMap provides an easy-to-use platform which allowed our GRC team to completely revamp the way we approach policy, governance, vendors, and risk management in a single platform. Previously, we were utilizing a handful of disparate solutions to provide these functions within our GRC program. Now our Risk Management Program is housed in a single platform, allowing for easier administration, navigation, and linking of information between policy, control mapping, evidence gathering, and risk treatment. What do you dislike about ScalePad ControlMap?

The SSO login experience if you're using both the MSP platform and a tenant for your organization does not function properly. For that reason, we needed to configure our GRC team as members of the MSP tenant as well as our organizational tenant in order to get them into the platform after working with support. What problems is ScalePad ControlMap solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to solve all of our GRC needs with a single platform has been the largest benefit to our GRC program. Prior, we were utilizing a number of disparate solutions to accomplish these goals, leading to lost time and mulitiple verisions of "the truth" in our documentation throughout our on-premise and cloud ecosystems. ControlMap has allowed us to pull all of these functions into a single platform with easy-to-use crosswalking of documentation and control assessments to meet our SOC2, NIST CSF, and CMMC needs. What do you like best about ScalePad Backup Radar?

We have a single pane of glass view across all the backup jobs for all of our clients. Whether the customer is in Spanning, Acronis, Veeam, or Azure, we can monitor, as well as report on the backup jobs. The automated reporting features to our customers are super handy and valuable. What do you dislike about ScalePad Backup Radar?

I cannot say that there is something I dislike. On the odd occasion when something does not work as expected, we always have a dedicated and professional support team ready to assist in getting our issues resolved. (well, I only made use of them 2 times, and each time, the support has been excellent.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ScalePad Backup Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can monitor all backup jobs across our customer base, be it in Veeam, Acronis, Spanning, and Azure. Not only can we monitor our backup jobs, but we can also report to our customers. Backup Radar integrates perfectly into our systems, and from an auto ticketing side in the event of missed backup jobs, or failed backup jobs, it is priceless. Backup Radar also ties back into IT Glue, and we can have visibility into everything relating to our customers this way without a lot of manual interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Visibility and Transparency: It provides clear, color-coded reports and visual scorecards that make it easy to understand the current state of a client’s technology. This transparency helps in building trust and facilitating informed decision-making.

Automation and Efficiency: By integrating with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) and PSA (Professional Services Automation) tools, it automates data collection and analysis. This reduces manual work and ensures data accuracy, saving time and effort for MSPs.

Strategic Planning: The platform helps MSPs create long-term technology plans with detailed roadmaps. These plans can be visualized up to five years in advance, making it easier to anticipate future needs and budget accordingly.

Client Engagement: Lifecycle Manager enhances client engagement by generating client-friendly visuals and reports. This makes it easier to communicate complex technical information to non-technical clients, fostering better understanding and collaboration.
