Base SAS syntax language is easy to learn and can be used to manipulate the datasets and derive analytical reports. The language is like an English-speaking language in a code format. it is not an open source and the cost for licencing is not economical, so it does not attract small enterprise business users. Graphical representation of the reports generated is not much effective or colourful comparing other sources as open source R can even produce effective graphs or other application.
