What do you like best about Datastream?

I am particularly impressed with Datastream as it offers detailed information about listed companies around the world. Access to historical and real time data of equities, indices and options enables me to gauge trends, analyse patterns and make respective investment decisions. What do you dislike about Datastream?

This is especially true for older versions of Excel in which formatting may at times get messed up when the data is copied across. In particular, it would be good to improve the situation with the export, if it can be done to be even more smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Datastream's real value lies in its historical data on companies and their activities which helps me pull out trends and analyze prospects. The notifications/alert feature is great for up-to-date(ish) monitoring of key targets/prospects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Contains historical pricing data of about 175 countries which traders can use for investing purposes.
