Toad is a sql database just like the any other database connectors. It's great tool to pull data. The benefit of this connector in comparison to squirrel is the ability to pull more records and exporting to a csv. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Either you are developer or BA / tester its easy for everyone. Non technical people can use this software with same ease as technical user.

2. The dataset is in very easy and understable format. It looks same like excel table sheet and you can easily view SQL data.

4. When you write big functions and procedures you want your SQL query to look good and easy to understand for other developers and its editor is brillant for that. you can see the number of lines as well for good formatting.

Not to forget as it has so many good features it is end of the day connecting to the database (most of the time remotely) so it defientely needs good connectivity good amount of system memory.

It has easy access to different and variable instances and schemas, one of the most striking points from my point of view, which makes it one of the ones I like the most, regarding its storage functionalities, including its storage capabilities.
