What do you like best about Toad For Oracle?

This product makes it easy to view different packages in a scheme, allows queries to be exported into excel, csv. It provides statistics of how much time a query can take to run and how many rows are retrieved. It is a great tool for analysis and management of a database. What do you dislike about Toad For Oracle?

It has a limited buffer size, hence it is not good if you want to retrieve a lot of rows. Because of the same reason, there is a delay in its performance. You can process only a fixed mount of information at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Toad For Oracle?

Toad is like a multipurpose tool for almost any type of databases. It is useful for admins, developers, for optimization etc all operations on a database. Toad can do all the functionalities of a database tool like SQL script execution, Query evaluation, Query plan evaluation, ER diagram generation, reverse engineering, Schema Doc generator, import and export etc.

It also provides the feature to automate certain daily activities like a macro. For a multiuser development purposes toad can be integrated with a VCS or it can be used as is with team coding feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toad For Oracle?

Everything you can do with a click on this tool so may be its not a good one to start with for newbies.

Toad GUI interface makes task execution easy and pretty. Offers the best Query Builder with graphical representation of queries. Toad exports SQL in several formats that gives me opportunity to arrange screen layouts in several ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
