What do you like best about PowerShell Studio?

It includes debugging tools, and it allows you to combine the aspects of Powershell ISE with the CLI interface of Powershell 7. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerShell Studio?

With the added features comes a slightly higher learning curve to master the additions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PowerShell Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows me to not have to flip between Powershell ISE, which I use for it's ability to have the code and the output there, and Powershell 7 CLI, which I use because it is the latest version of Powershell at the time of this review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerShell Studio?

I haven’t faced any issues while using PowerShell Studio. It has a significant number of features that can be explored and put to use for your scripting needs.

I also like its GUI designer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PowerShell Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me reduce time by not having to write code for scripts. I use built-in templates and functions. I can also convert my scripts into executables. The best part is it supports both windows Powershell and Powershell 7. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PowerShell Studio?

Powershell Studio has good intelli-sense compared with some of the available code editors in the market, if we compare Powershell with others, it has the upper edge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerShell Studio?

There is nothing that would be hated for, but one suggestion I would be adding is that the size compression should be minimal, and it should be developed for another platforms too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PowerShell Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?

Powershell Studio is a fantastic tool. I've used it for about a year now. I have worked on enterprise-level apps that handle Azure Vm creation, and user account creation for office 365 and this tool works like a charm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PowerShell Studio?

Powershell Studio has the best intellisense compared to another code editors like Visual Studio. I have used both of these and can say Powershell studio has the edge over VS Code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerShell Studio?

It is not a thing that I would say I don't like, as I work mainly on a Windows environment, but I think Powershell Studio should also be made available for other platform also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PowerShell Studio?

SAIPEN have created a well-rounded editor that allows us to edit PowerShell code and easily use snippets for reusable code. The module management also ensures we're using the latest modules. But the thing that shines above the other editors is the form design and deployment to EXE that helps us out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PowerShell Studio?

Not much to dislike about the product as it does what we need. The only thing that could be better is the licensing, but even that is easy enough to get used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering PowerShell Studio:

The product comes with a trial for 45 days, so you can give it a go and check everything out ahead of purchasing. When in trial mode, there are some restrictions when using forms as you can only use so many objects on the form, and if you compile it, then it has a watermark. Otherwise, when using it for coding, you have no restrictions at all.

We also identified that a single license can be used on two computers for the same user, which is great as we have a desktop and laptop, so I can have it on both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PowerShell Studio solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using PowerShell Studio to write all of our PowerShell code and share snippets to make the reuse of code easier. We've also been able to create some excellent forms using it as well, which is just so easy when compared to doing it manually with code, they just take all the effort out of the process.
