"Our only choice for database management"
What do you like best about phpMyAdmin?

Generally; Easy to install, use and interface. Maybe we are used to it because we have been using it for many years, but it is still easy. export and import work smoothly (except for file limits). We open Phpmyadmin every day without exception. It is always at our fingertips. We use integration with Apache or Xampp. we use xampp integration to start and stop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about phpMyAdmin?

Import data limits can sometimes disrupt our work. but we can edit it from the "ini" file. sometimes we don't have access to the "ini" file and need to use load_data_infile. In this case, we need ssh access. On the table creation screen via the interface, the TAB key does not work properly on the screen where the table name, type, length... is written. The tab key navigates all fields and it is necessary to press the tab key 10-15 times to go down to the bottom line. It would be better if "ini" file customizations could be made from the interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Open Source mysql and mariadb manager"
What do you like best about phpMyAdmin?

For decades it is the leading web based product for mysql or mariadb database management. More than some professional suites, it has everything you need to manage your current instances. I particularly like the migraton features that export and import databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about phpMyAdmin?

The UI is about the same for over 10 years. It really need a revamp, although it is very user friendly. But some screens can avoid refreshing at every action. With this it would be much more responsive. Also, a mobile app would be nice as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"phpMyAdmin Review"
What do you like best about phpMyAdmin?

phpMyAdmin provides a UI to see the MySQL database; we can make a SQL query directly using phpMyAdmin. Also, we can see all the database and table UI, which make it easier for the user to understand it more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about phpMyAdmin?

PhpMyAdmin only supports old and limited databases like MariaDB& MySQL database. We cannot use this for MongoDb-like databases; therefore, in the totals world, it's hard to use in the PhyMyAdmin for UI purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The designer mode is a complete failure. You have to update the design every time and the layout is not automatic. The lines are not drawn in real time. I think that this part should be redesigned Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
