The e-signature platform is well designed and walks clients through the return, showing them what needs to be paid and where the vouchers are, where to sign, etc. Pay lock is available to make sure that clients have to settle their invoices before accessing documents if you wish to enforce that. The system overall lacks polish and has not been meaningfully improved since I first started using it three years ago. During that time I had many conversations with Eric (the owner) and he told me about many features that he was working to implement. So far none of them have gone live. The result is a stale product that is much less functional than its competitors that charge a similar price.
Once documents are uploaded to the portal it is difficult to find them or do anything meaningful with them. There is a tag system that is completely useless. If you want to find a document you have to first search for the account, then look under related, then docs, then scroll to find it.
Lack of the ability for both spouses to have a separate log in to access documents is an ongoing issue that has not been addressed.
If you pay lock 2 documents at once the client will be asked to pay the invoice before accessing each document. In other words, if a client owes $500 and you want them to pay it before downloading their return and upload that + something else, the client will be made to pay $500 before accessing either or both documents, resulting in them being double charged. The integration of the data from your company coupled with your customer's data is seamless, user friendly and very accountable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not used it long enough to find any glaring problems. It seems to fit all the needs we have Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
