What do you like best about Oracle WebLogic?

Byzantine complexity. Although there is a ton of documentation, it's not very useful. There are a ton of security issues and fixing them is not well documented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle WebLogic?
It works pretty good once installed or when installed as it is out-of-the box. It works well for web applications particularly Java applications and it's fast, scalable and stable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Oracle WebLogic?
The installation documentation is not straightforward. Need to go through different docs to be able to install it efficiently. It doesn't provide clear steps to follow in case one wants only to use some of its features, for example, JMS or if issues are encountered. Technical help and support are minimal. What do you like best about Oracle WebLogic?
The varied features it offers but best is the Weblogic console and WLST which is becoming secure and informative by each version release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Didn't .like the feature of encrypting passwords for SSL certs while browsing through WLST. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle WebLogic?
we have 90% of application runs on top of oracle weblogic server. this application server is robust, easy to use and managing applications deployment, clustering and integrate other components very easily. administration part is very easy to manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bugs, Bugs lot of bugs in 10.3.6 version. our 90% of application runs on 10.3.6. and we are planning to migrate to 12c in future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle WebLogic?
Its ability to support Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL Enterprise and most JDBC enabled databases. It's connectivity with IBM WebSphere MQ was definitely a plus! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Oracle WebLogic?
As with all application servers, there are concerns over performance, reliability and security. This is no different which resulted in redundant database backups just in case! Other than that, no major dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
