What do you like best about OpenText Application Quality Management?

First of all I like it's UI and separate pages for test design, test lab, defects or bugs tracking, test release cycles and test reports.

Also it's ability to store huge no of data like huge no of test cases and design data

I used to switch from 2020 to 2019 etc like to different years test cases data in one application and it's ability to allow the macros(little programs in XL) to run on it's data and update test design and execution data.

Even though hp took over microfocus it didn't impact it's quality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?

It's a very good tool, and I would like to mention the below point but it's not like I dislike it,

Since we deal with thousands of test cases and defects sometimes when we change page from bugs to test design it will take a little bit time to load the page and data which is sensible as it's no joke loading such huge no of test case data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is OpenText Application Quality Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

As we are working in agile and in sprints. It helps us to organize test and bugs data in a structure like each release has certain number of cycles or sprints.

Once any changes are done in data or folders it will be effective immediately for all the users so no errors in test execution or updates.

To communicate with developers or PMO or support teams we have an excellent chat/ comments bar in the defects/bugs page so that everyone who is part of that development and test will get notified about the updates in comments

So it's basically makes testers , developers and managers work easy

Also we can automate the test case execution update using automation softwares like selenium

And we can run macros for bulk update Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
