What do you like best about N-able DNS filtering?

The best thing about N-Able DNS filtering is the ease-of-implementation on a large scale to all of the endpoints. Once it is deployed it is easy to use and provides an always-on method of preventing access to sites considered less-than-stellar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able DNS filtering?

The largest complaint for the integrated DNS filtering is the workflow not being single-screen in that the organization has to be created at DNSFilter and then the site key be used to deploy the agent from N-Central. This may work differently in the cloud-based RMM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is N-able DNS filtering solving and how is that benefiting you?

N-Able DNS filtering provides endpoint security by protecting against threats known to occupy the "malicious download" category. It works hand-in-hand with our EDR/Anti-Virus solution by removing the ability for users to inadvertently infect or potentially infect their systems by declining those URLs. "Saved A Client Multiple Times"

What do you like best about N-able DNS filtering?

One of my clients was hit with a phishing email that looked like DocuSign. Their email was compromised when they stole the session (MFA was turned on). So we installed DNS Filter and they have been saved from this specific compromise multiple times as employees click on the email mistakenly. I am sure there are other things that they have been protected from but that is the best example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about N-able DNS filtering?

The backend has a strange problem when I selected a new client and attempted to push the install, it defaulted back to the main account and not the client account. It is annoy because a few computers are on the wrong container. I check now before add new computers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
