What do you like best about MySQL?

MySQL is used mainly for Database Management. Used for many other use-cases. Like forensic and scientific researchh. Used for various projects to store user database and data. It is easy to setup in a Linux, Unix or Windows environment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MySQL?

For large, heavy loaded databases, it is a major operations problem that changing the database structure is only possible when locking the complete tables. The database cannot be accessed during that operation so that this can only be done during low traffic times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about MySQL?

the connection with our database and the rest of the clients since we use a program with SQL databases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Many times it crashes. When we had a database in Access, we didn't have a problem, but after migrating, clients complain a lot about the connection and the unstable MySQL service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
