What do you like best about MySQL?

I loved the consistency it offers. The easy syntax to connect to the remote servers and operate on them with the same ease as if I am working on my machine. Its integration with the Django applications is awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MySQL?

We have to do a lot of processing ourselves to store the key-value pairs or data that we receive from some service or API. It is slower at times in comparison to the non-relational databases. Had it had some more aggregation functions, our tasks could have been easier. I might not know about the method to connect to the DB server using some key file, but it will be awesome to have one. What do you like best about MySQL?
