Not very "out of the box" and requires a lot of customization that their team needs to develop from the ground up
Outdated UI/UX that feels very 2005 and not up to par with industry standard in 2025. Seriously... this is one of the worst product UI/UX I've come across.
False promises: they'll sell you that their platform can do anything you need and their functionality meets your use cases, however, this is not true. We found that they over promised/sold us and we're now back tracking.
Built for channel partners from decades past, not for partnerships of today/the future. They even refer to email campaigns as "drip campaigns" which is an outdated term (Nurture Emails is the new standard).
Implementation missteps: we had multiple instances where what we outlined/asked for in terms of how we needed things to be setup, were not actioned on/completed and we didn't realize until we identified things not working as intended. They also didn't ask discovery questions to understand our business/use cases up front, which led to us sort of guessing as to how their platform works and how it can work for our needs.
Asset Management: They say one of their primary use cases is asset management... anyone who works with partners understands that you need governance over marking certain assets as 'internal/confidential' which are restricted from downloading/sharing. However, they do not offer this feature out of the box and need to custom develop it.
Co-branding Assets: they claim they have a seamless co-branding asset tool, however, the UX to the tool is miserable to work with and overly complicated to the point where I gave up with it.
Onboarding: They will push their training/onboarding sessions to you, which are WAY too lengthy and just become a rolling readout/demo, rather than tailoring the training to your specific setup/needs. Very generalized. They don't offer on-demand lessons/videos and their help articles are impossible to navigate. Their articles also don't consistently refer to features in the same way, so it's a guessing game on what you're trying to learn/get answers to.
They also did not make use aware of the importance of domain signing on system generated emails, which if you don't do this up front, you'll end up sending emails to your partners with sketchy email aliases and sketchy URLs. I'm blown away that this is even how they operate.... platforms like Seismic offer out of the box URL/domains and email senders that don't get pushed into spam. MindMatrix (MM as I name it with some love) is an end-to-end business solution for any company which requires understanding the marketing and sales assets, activities, and performers in many different ways. The platform is excellent by itself, but strategic planning, users onboarding, and execution will be the intuitive way to get the Return on Investment. Ease-of-use is the biggest plus of Mindmatrix - The Mindmatrix portal is pretty intuitive, even for beginners. The platform has a lot of capabilities, but they are nicely compartmentalized so you see only what you need to see and use. In a couple of previous platforms that we had tried out, everything was out in the open to everyone, regardless of their user role, which was very confusing for some. MindMatrix provided Vijilan and its partners with a unified hub for better coordination of efforts related to marketing, sales, and communication. Lead generation and closing rates were improved by using the platform's specialized marketing automation and sales enablement solutions. and of course the comprehensive training materials helped in the onboarding of new MSPs, while data analytics helped with opportunities to improve teamwork between my team and our partners. This company is top notch, with one of the best support team, customer service/ account management team, and after 20 years of owning several businesses, I wanted to take the time to share how great they are. The only downside is that their SMTP domains are sometimes causing emails to land in spam folder of the recipients.
