"Customizable Solution Tailored to Complex Use Cases"

What do you like best about IntelliFend Bot Management?

Being a CDN-neutral solution, it allows us to apply Intellifend bot management solution to our environment which utilizes multiple CDN providers at the same time, this gives us flexibility and convenience that we are not locked into a specific CDN provider with bot management solution. On the cost wise, if we compare Intellifend with other provider that only does bot management, it's much lower in cost; however if we compare it with CDN provider that offers the bot management solution, Intellifend's cost is slightly higher. However one plus point is that the support (they are more like a Tier-2 support instead of Tier-1) or the engineering team in Intellifend is responsive and understand what we need, and able to customize the solution for our use cases.

For the implementation wise, we opt to use their no-latency option instead of proxy option, seeing that low-latency is one of our requirement in selecting this bot management solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IntelliFend Bot Management?

When writing this review, it appears that Intelifend’s bot management API capabilities for complex integration use cases are progressing toward full completion. What problems is IntelliFend Bot Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

With bots occupying more traffics and compute-resources which leads to higher Infra cost, I believe most bot management solutions would be able identify the bots effectively. However we have some strict requirements that Intellifend could help. The first is that we need to look for a solution that is not CDN-locked-in due to the fact that we are using multiple CDN providers, and secondly we need a solution that doesn't introduce additional latency as we are in the industry that less-latency matters for better financial gain.

Another interesting fact is that by identifying and stopping the bots such as scrapers and hedgers, the result is it gives an opportunity for us to convert them to be a legitimate data subscriber, which contributes to a part of revenue to our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
