260 IBM Turbonomic Reviews

What I like best about IBM Turbonomic is its ability to automatically analyze real-time application demand and continuously make resource allocation decisions without manual intervention. It doesn't just generate alerts—it takes action based on policies, helping maintain performance while reducing overprovisioning and unnecessary cloud costs. The platform provides deep visibility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments and integrates seamlessly with tools like Kubernetes, VMware, Azure, and AWS. This level of automation and insight drastically improves operational efficiency and service reliability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While IBM Turbonomic is powerful, there are a few areas where it could improve.
First, the user interface can feel overwhelming—especially for new users or teams without prior AIOps experience. Navigating through dashboards and interpreting all the metrics can require a learning curve.
Second, while the platform offers strong automation, customizing those policies or integrating with external systems often needs scripting or more advanced configuration, which may not be ideal for less technical users.
Lastly, the pricing structure may not scale well for smaller organizations or teams with limited IT budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IBM Turbonomic excels at providing real-time, AI-driven recommendations that help optimize both application performance and infrastructure cost. What I like best is its ability to automate resource allocation decisions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments without manual intervention. This not only ensures continuous application health but also significantly reduces operational overhead for IT teams. The platform’s clear visibility into resource utilization across all layers — compute, storage, and network — helps in proactive planning and performance assurance. While IBM Turbonomic offers powerful optimization capabilities, the initial setup and integration can be complex, especially in large, multi-cloud environments. The learning curve for new users is somewhat steep, requiring time to fully understand and trust the platform’s automation recommendations. Additionally, the user interface, while functional, could be more intuitive and modernized to enhance overall usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about IBM Turbonomic is that it helps keep our applications running smoothly without needing a lot of manual work. It automatically adjusts resources like memory and CPU, so we don’t have to constantly monitor or fine-tune things. This not only saves us time but also helps avoid performance issues before they happen. It works well across different environments—whether it's in the cloud or on-prem—and gives helpful suggestions that are easy to understand and follow. Overall, it makes managing our systems much easier and more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can take a little time to learn how to use it, especially in the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Helps automate resource optimisation through all complex, hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- It's always checking the application and infrastructure and decides how to improve performance in terms of demand and supply which ultimately reduces costs.
- It also allows you to check the application manually, despite having a lot of AI recommendations.
- It's easy to use and to integrate with AWS or other cloud platforms, which makes implementation easy whilst encouraging frequent use for admins.
- They provide customer support as well, which is easy to contact through help or their email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- It requires up skilling as it is difficult to learn at first if you do not have a technical background.
- UI is too complex when onboarding new users.
- Pricing becomes steep when trying to scale especially for smaller businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used and studied about IBM Turbonomic and one of the best thing that I like about it is scaling of resources and making decision in real-time , which makes the best and judicious use of resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I thing I faced is that its complex to setup even though if you have basic devOps knowledge. Also another thing I feel that the UI is too much complicated with flood of notifications. This is not personal experience but I think it is bit costly for individual or small teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The AI driven resource optimisation is what help any developer the most to use and the implementation wise is also easy, and also can be very easy integrated to our projects. Have used this feature for more than 2-3 projects and they run everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is bit costly for mostly smaller IT teams and would be more helpful for support on first time onboarding Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ai powered insights is I would say the best feature the AI is leveraged well to deliver actionable insights helping us make informed decisions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve of the platform is very steep it sometimes becomes overwhelming to digest all that the platform has to offer but I guess that's what makes it even better than the competitors Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For sure i honestly like the recommendations about our workloads and services (Virtual Machines, Kubernets, Unattached Disks) and we have a lot of things to do in AKS, EKS and GKE, that we doesn't know if we haven't Turbonomic
The FinOps Team use Turbonomic to work and reductions too, like resize of DB's, VMs, and Clusters Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sincerely we don't have a "bad" or "miss" thing in Turbonomic, that ARM are amazing to work, gave us money, and a good infrastructure, of course that we have a lot of work to do yet, but, until now, Turbonomic has impressioned all people that work with me positively Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
