What do you like best about IBM Db2?
DB2 does very well with IBM Products, it is very well optimized. Even if there is an issue in the Database performance they provide a support in doing the table reorganiztion which further utlizes Databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM Db2?
Db2 lacks when it comes to craetion of Dynamic tables and doing search in the table. It is not that fast. Also if there is any issue Documentation provided by IBM is not very clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

High availability, ease of use, ease of implementation, ease of integration and very stable
Also it has a very experienced support team and high performnace with few resources.

What do you like best about IBM Db2?
We have been using Db2 for years. It has severed us well and the more recent versions have enabled us to do a lot more. We have used this is have better insight on our business and make accurate predictions when paired with other products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM Db2?
The main issue with IBM Db2 is it is harder to find good analysts and admins. We have had issues keeping our workers like everyone else and have issues finding them as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about DB2 is knowing that I've been using a database for over 20 years that is 100% supported and I'll be able to read the same data in 20 years without having to worry about changing technologies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a database that has few DBA specialists but that can be solved by training them. It could also have more data migration tools from other database vendors to DB2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Db2?
Long following with IBM AS400. Has been implemented in other platforms. The direct access, and relational database layout. The use of "Members" is specific to IBM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about IBM Db2?
Use of Memebers makes it difficult to query with Basic SQL. However, the platform on an IBM AS400 does have built in SQL. Not all of the standard SQL options are available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
