"Practicing MBD with RTist: A tough ride"
What do you like best about HCL RTist?
I'm a big fan of the MBD methodology.
The tool is better and offers far more features than its competitors. But it is also very difficult to master.
Over the years, you have improved much, and I learned to use it better. But due to its inherent complexity, it has been a challenging ride.
In such cases, tool stability needs special attention. Fortunately, the client advocate program allowed us to influence the product and its planning.
Future Ideas/Oppertunities/Strategies were discussed/explained in open minded settings with the development team.
I'm happy that our company has chosen to use it as a multi-site collaboration and development tool.
This will show new challenges and oppertunities for you and us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about HCL RTist?
The installed base of the tool is far too low. You can't use the public platforms (like stackoverflow) to discuss design and tool-usage issues.
You have to build up your knowledge internally and use the HCL communication channels.
The channels have often been used to discuss and solve tool bugs and test low-quality feature deliveries.
Besides some escalations now and then, you have improved your quality. I appreciate that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
