It had a very large collection of coding problems on any of the required stack.
Once you have the knowledge then you have Hacker Rank to keep it sharp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Noting in general, but if given a little bit more on other users and social interactions would have been perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They give certification for skills and challenging problems that help me train not just the programming language but also my problem-solving skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lacks certification for more advanced stuff (e.g. Python Advanced Certification). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One can customize their learning paths based on their skill level. Also, there are a lot of programs and skills available for practice. You can also get certification for the skills learned. Then there are several contests to participate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing in general. I have been using HackerRank for a long time and I am satisfied with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The sheer collection of great interview questions that are constantly updated and the amazing community built around it which are helpful all around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the community portion could be updated little bit. Maybe adding some filters to sort out helpful discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
thinking on the correct way for how to figure out about problems and how to solve them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
unclear documentation for new users. major of my friends dislike and discontinued use it because found it hard to explain how to solve the code problems.
I am personally found the same problem with SQL train-path. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are tons of things I like about Hackerrank like its auto code completion feature while practicing some questions. Navigate between different questions is very easy. Amazing questions which surely improve your problem solving skills. Beautiful UI with best responsiveness is just like toppings on the cake. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I dislike is some questions in some company challenge are repeated so it is easy for anyone to google them and get the solution. Overall the experience is amazing with the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked almost everything about the platform. It has great tutorials, focused test problems that test aspects of your programming knowledge and helps you build your skills one piece at a time and it never felt overwhelming. HackerRank also has a great community of people who will help you out if you ever get stuck somewhere. It also has a leader board, which helps you track your progress with respect to other programmers and feels very rewarding. And all of your hard work can be seen by people looking to hire someone. You can also get certified by giving small 1.5 hour test which should be a breeze if you know what you're doing and all of this is for free, the only investment that you need to make is with your time and not your wallet. Only the fact that there need to be more certifications. I feel that there can be more fields to certify in and it may be implemented in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like the idea of the new certifications programme in Hackerrank. Even the current set of skills being targeted by the programme is great and expansive. The number of learning tracks are large in number and cover mostly all domains in standard competitive programming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of features that need to be rectified OR some very specific enhancements should be done:
- If a problem statement needs to be rectified and a concerned edit is suggested, the edit is never reviewed or it takes a long time to do so. For e.g. a problem edit which I gave about two months ago is still pending.
- Complete dark mode should be there to ease the strain on eyes
- There should be more ways to spend Hackos earned as opposed to only spending them on test cases
- A problem/contest creator should not be awarded Hackos for solving his/her own problems in/during a contest
- Expansive features available to companies and recruiters should be made available to standard users as well (this could w.r.t the ranking of the users. For e.g. someone ranked only 3000 and better can get to use XYZ feature available to only a company or recruiter)
- More expansive editorials with proper diagramming and progressive approach Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The way the questions are asked and help people develop their skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. There's nothing on the website that can be disliked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
