What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

While HackerRank was an invaluable part of our recruiting efforts prior to COVID, as we shifted our recruiting to be fully virtual, it has become absolutely essential. The screening functionality allows us to evaluate large groups of candidates to ensure we are focusing on the top talent in our pool and the interview functionality has propelled our virtual technical interviews into a world where we don't have to sacrifice quality of our interviews even when done remotely. For us, it's two main problems we solve with HackerRank. First, using the technical screening functionality, we assess every candidate's technical skills before our series of virtual/in-person technical interviews to ensure we are talking with the best talent. Second, since our entire interview process went virtual, we needed a platform to conduct technical interviews previously done in person on paper and with a whiteboard. For senior candidates, I can provide real-world challenges for them to work and submit, which is perfect for identifying the skill gaps. There isn't a particular feature or a workflow that I dislike, per se. The platform is user-friendly and didn't take us much time to adapt. The platform has helped streamline the whole process with remote screening and virtual interviewing of technical candidates. Since everyone is now remote, including the candidate, we needed an adaptable platform, and HackerRank does just that.
