What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

Great features which can reduce the Panel's time for interviews. Fantastic support from the team whenever needed. Very open to taking feedback and working to implement them. Introducing many new features and allowing us to use them. What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

It would be great if they could enhance the question bank across different technologies. Although they have excellent programming questions, it would be great if they work on including more MCQ questions so it is balanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has reduced the need for multiple interview rounds so that they can spend on business needs. The programming questions have helped us to evaluate the candidates in real-time better. What do you like best about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

There are several things that I and our Talent and the technical interviewing team find helpful:

- We can customize our own tests, set our own benchmarks, and customize it according to your company standards and seniority levels

- The tests have proven to be very accurate and they give us a clear picture of the seniority level of the candidate even before accessing the technical interview. It almost always matches the interviewer's impression. This saves us time, to stop the process with candidates that do not have good results.

- Plagiarism detection is very helpful and the fact that Hackerrank detects which questions might be leaked to the internet

- Our team sill hasn't started to use the interviewing tool, but its in our plans to start using it for the technical interviews, we see great potential in it, but we just didn't have the time until now to explore it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

Honestly, so far we didn't have any remarks regarding Hackrrank.

As a small suggestion, I would suggest having the option of automatic removal of a leaked question in the customized tests (this feature exists in the pre-made Hackerrank tests) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Our contacts at HackerRank are timely and supportive. I feel heard and prioritized often and my emails are addressed quickly.

-Easy for RecOps teams to adopt - requires no technical knowledge to coordinate technical assignments and interviews.

-Integrates with our scheduling tool and ATS, easy to create virtual interview links or assignments and share with all parties. So easy to scale - it operates nearly invisibly on my end for much of our process (especially in our interview scheduling tool). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HackerRank Developer Skills Platform?

-I hear as much good as bad regarding HackerRank's technical capabilities but it is hard to navigate those conversations from a RecOps perspective. But HackerRank is very willing to meet with and support our technical teams, so I know they care and would prioritize us and our adoption. The tool was a such a game changer for RecOps - we had tried another tool for our virtual technical interviews after we began remote interviewing, and it was more manual to adopt. HackerRank operates almost invisibly in a lot of our processes saving us a lot of time. All in all, I want to be transparent in my review and say that I have heard from folks who have technical complaints with HackerRank, but many have compliments too.
