What do you like best about Float?

Float is a lovely way to keep tracks of daily and weekly tasks. It is minimal and polished with just the right features needed. I have found it to be a great way for the team to track what everybody is working on and keep track of how much time has been allocated to each task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I think it would be more beneficial to be able to integrate this software with our timesheet tool. Sometimes refreshing the page can cause some information to get lost. What do you like best about Float?

it's super easy to view our studios schedule and see what projects myself and team members will be working on. It allows us to easily coordinate on projects and show our clients our availability to book in future work. What do you dislike about Float?

It can be quite clunky to reorganise projects and can sometimes be confusing to understand the reports section as there is a lot of information to process on the one page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a worthwhile investment if you and your team need an easy space to all view commitments week by week and is an easy to use tool for businesses instead of calenders which allows you to collate your schedules and show clients your availability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Float allows us to easily track our work load instead of referring to and from different email chains and allows all our clients and colleagues to have one space where we can view what needs to be done and have a live preview of commitments running through the studio so anyone can check and it will be up to date instead of having to ask around. What do you like best about Float?

Float has really robust, one or two button press financial reports - you can get a really accurate report per project, per quarter or per annum to allow really good profit and loss figures that are accurate to the hour.

It is very good in the way it allows quick blockouts of time for the planning of things like feature development and also details and notes within individual tasks.

The most important factor is browser based, one stop shop of visibility for all team to allow best possible visibility for inter discipline dependencies. Outsource schedules can be added too. It's really simple to mark individual team members as users or admins to allow the right people access to the schedule and get visibility wide across the team.

I like the clean layout and the simple interface. It allows easy implementation of placeholder and actual holiday and sickness/annual leave.

It is very quick and easy to use with a clean UI, simple to set up projects with unique colours which can be really useful when looking at a schedule with multiple projects on the go concurrently. As mentioned the browser based nature is important and allows to have a tab open and quickly switch between other work and checking the schedule or answering questions regarding work marked up in float. Obviously having the information stored cloud based is also secure against server failures.

I have enjoyed using the product overall and think it has contributed to increased productivity for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

It's not possible to band box select multiple tasks, you have to shift select them. It's a small usability niggle only. The rest is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use with all the features we were looking for"

What do you like best about Float?

We were looking for a product that would help us plan and manage our current and up-coming projects with ease.

There were lots of products on the market, but Float stood out from the rest for being very user friendly, responsive to queries and feedback, and for a good price.

The reporting tool on Float is great and can be used to filter however you want. This has given us a much better overview of our staffing requirements and patterns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

One of the features we would like to see is different budget currencies available on the same team. Currently you can have one currency per team, but multiple teams. This for us is not practical as we have people on multiple projects that can be different currencies and this would give inaccurate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float?

The simplicity and immediacy of the timeline interface is massively important for digesting and understanding an often hectic and clogged schedule. Customisation of clients, projects and tasks means that we can see, at a glance, exactly what clients and projects we are working with - it takes a lot of the project management stress out of the process for teams like mine, who need to focus on their own tasks at hand. What do you dislike about Float?

I think there could be more options to input information within the tasks in a schedule - although there is a notes section, it would be great to see more integration with other platforms like the Google suite (Drive, slides, docs) that could streamline our process even more.
