What do you like best about Float?

The nice UI to undestand how employees time is being spent.

The ability to have different colors for each type of task.

What do you dislike about Float?

User doesn't have ability to copy tasks from previous week. It only available within week window. I have already reported this to you guys.

There is no option to see the budget left over. It will be good to have that feature where it shows the staus of hrs left to complete a project/task. I believe this has been already communicated to you from our compant POC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like that I can see exactly what's on my week - and the coming weeks up ahead. It's easy to plan my time with a detailed yet fluid system. At our advertising agency things change all the time, and Float enables us to keep on top of things. Visual resource planning. Easy to make updates and changes to the system. Very adapatable for different project types and team working styles. Visual reporting is easy to digest. It's super intuitive and easy to use for users. The customer support has been awesome - Zoe is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Inability to easily upload historical data from our previous system. The reporting capability is strong but to do more robust analysis, an excel download is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If a group of people are on 1 task, not easy to take one person out of that task and move to another task.Have to change the original task. Not that this occurs very often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float?

We've had Float for almost a year and we've really taken advantage of all that it has to offer. From the initial intro call, they've been incredibly friendly and informative of how our company could best use Float. The actual onboarding process was the most smooth I've experienced when working with a new vendor. The UI is clean, yet tells you the whole story you need and if our team ever ran into a bug, their customer support team were ready to assist as needed. I also appreciate their Community Slack channel of new and seasoned users discussing potential problems and solutions. Because the program is easy to use, our team is always logged in and updating their projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float?

I think the only con I have is their Reports view. There is definitely a learning curve to fully take advantage of the Report section and it may not give you everything you're looking for (even when exporting). As Float continues to evolve and grow, I do hope they expand more within that view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
