What do you dislike about F5 NGINX Plus?

There's not a lot to dislike about NGINX except the platform latency, slow support service, and a bit difficult to understand UI. Apart from this, the tool is great and really profitable for businesses seeking quick API deployments! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX Plus?

Right now, I don't use it as per business requirements but i have used this an year ago. However,

I use nodejs and nginx docs are quite easy to implement It in my application. I have integrated nginx for load balancing and reverse proxying the requests as nodejs is not capable to do it alone and the plus version is out of the box efficient web accelerator with good engineer support. You will not be able to it in open-source environment and people when hear it about NGINX plus feature online they sometime mislead to free version. Also, the plus version for Indian businesses is quite expensive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Enchanced Availablity, Speed and Responsiveness.

Good cloud native load balancer ingress solution along with API Gateway and load balancer features.

Super resilent, no bottle necks noticed.

Capable of scaling for many hosts and applications.

We can use the caching features and compressions along with load balance and reverse proxy soultions included in this product.

What do you dislike about F5 NGINX Plus?

Licensing model.

Metric dashborad is not great.

What do you like best about F5 NGINX Plus?

The best thing is you can deploy ngix service very easily on any platform. Since docker image is also available for nginx, its much easier when you are looking micro service application load balancing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Opensource to many platforms like Netflix and Dropbox which have a high volume of traffic. It balances the load nicely for delivering static & dynamic content in a fast manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a deployment tool for easy deployment of web servers . it is very reliable,fast with expert level production capabilities. It has features like HA,load balancing and production grade health checking made this tool very unique in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It doesnt have larger community like apache , so when we have any issues in deployments we dont get much support is the only draw back as for now. I hope in future this will be resolved as the market of nginx is growing day by say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
