What do you dislike about Doxy.me?

Doxy takes a photo of you right as you log in to use as your avatar for the session, but you don't know when it's being taken, so it often turns out to be a horrible photo of yourself. It seemed like there were frequent issues with the site. This was in 2020-early 2021. Very limited extras and capabilities such as a group meeting, screen sharing, or changing the background. What do you like best about Doxy.me?

I love the ease of having one link that doesn't change for my clients to use. Also, having an app on my laptop is way easier than going to a website and logging in every time. Finally, I like that everything on the dashboard is clear and I don't often have questions about where to go to find something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Doxy.me?

I am not tech savvy, but wish doxy.me could help call quality even when my client doesn't have great service. In this time where everyone is doing so much online from home, quality can be greatly effected just by having kids in the home doing school work.

It also loses time when there are connection issues which could cause problems if insurance ever wanted to verify that I am on a call as long as I report that I am in my notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Doxy.me?

I like that it is very easy for clients to sign in & that no additional downloading of apps is needed, Their willingness to provide a free HIPAA compliant platform is meaningful to me. Doxy.me seems to work well with most browsers & my clients can easily access it from computer, mobile or tablet, I also like that I don't need to send a link every time. What do you dislike about Doxy.me?

I have had trouble with video & audio quality, There were several periods of time where I was unable to complete a session on doxy.me for several days at a time. I did upgrade my internet at home & that took care of some of the problem. I wish doxy.me had a friendlier interface for multi-person appointments. I like the Zoom interface & screen where you can easily see all participants clearly & wish doxy.me had more of that interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Doxy.me?

It was extremely simple to use and set up. The website is simple to understand. It was beneficial having a waiting room so that I could see when clients logged into our sessions and then have control over when to invite them into the video chat. During my sessions on Doxy, I woud also have to be monitoring another site, and I never had any trouble toggling between the screens. I was also able to show my screen to clients, which was helpful when I was trying to demonstrate something or share resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There were times when the video would freeze or the video quality was poor or that the call got dropped. This was a rare occurrence, though, and it worked well more often than not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to customize the waiting room, have multiple patients on the same call, and view connection status/strength for both clinician and patient. The notifications regarding problems or interruptions to service are also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The signal strength is quite variable - at times, the connection is poor/unreliable, and the audio and video get out of sync. Doxy.me has become my go-to tele provider for my mental health counseling practice. Their free version has a very functional format that provides a safe, confidential platform for telemed services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Doxy.me?

Of course, I would love to try their Premium options. Thus far, I have found the features in their free version to suffice. It is likely that if my private pay caseload increases, I will switch to Premium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Doxy.me is very easy to use for our clinical staff, and our patients haven't had any issues with it either. The main concern is that they have a good internet connection, but otherwise, it works great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't have any dislikes specifically. The only issues we ever really have with Doxy.me is the same issues any other Telehealth system would have, lousy internet connection and minimal technical skills for the patient.
