What do you like best about Defendify All-In-One Cybersecurity® Solution?

The great thing is that this is a low-cost, vulnerability scanning engine perfectly sized for SMB without the huge overhead of some of the bigger competitors. It has a great toolset for giving you what an SMB needs out of the box to start their path down cybersecurity by providing a base monthly scanning along with being able to produce company Incident Response Plan and Data Use Policy. What do you dislike about Defendify All-In-One Cybersecurity® Solution?

The initial vulnerability scanning is set to monthly, and if you need more frequent scanning (depending on your needs you may require weekly/daily scanning for Internet-facing objects) you will need to setup a new payment plan and schedule - this should be either more upfront during the sales process or provide a tiered structure that you can see on the website. Monthly is a good start, but many SMB's still require a more frequent scan.

Base report sent is solid but would like to have a few options on how I want to see it as well. For example, you will see the report sectioned by criticality, which is great, but sometimes I want the ability to focus on one server; so having an option to see all vulnerabilities by a server (or IP) would be very beneficial to not have to jump around to find them all. Recommendations to others considering Defendify All-In-One Cybersecurity® Solution:

The people at Defendify are great and very knowledgable. Extremely simple install/go-live process, you will be up and running very rapidly. The vulnerability scanning is excellent as well as the extras you get like policies, plans and sec awareness training. The only caveat is the lack of customized reports, which I believe Defendify will offer this as their product and customers mature and want to evaluate data in their own way. Exposing vulnerabilities so we can get those patched, or servers deprecated, etc., is the main goal. Going through our Critical and High vulnerabilities has shown my department and the company management that we are vulnerable and need to always take an active stance on security. Security through education. We use a lot of software to protect devices, but our well-meaning users still make mistakes. The Defendify platform helped us create a standard Technology and Data Use Policy document, which we incorporated into our new hire onboarding process. Their phishing simulations and cybersecurity and hacker awareness training program helps keep our staff on-guard for any nefarious attempts to gain access to our systems. Using the Defendify platform helps us keep our security practices front and center as we carry out our business activities. For a small business with a big focus on data security, Defendify fit the bill very well. DAVO provides a service to physical retailers that uses their POS system to automatically set aside sales tax, and then file and pay sales tax to the state on time and in full each month or quarter. Security is critical in our operations. We were searching for a vendor who could help enhance our security protocols to keep our confidential information secure and safe now and in the future. Defendify provides a one stop shop for cyber security. The dashboards and user interface are clean, clear and easy to use. When creating policies for our small business, I found it easy to navigate and the resulting policies deliverables were very nice. The Threat Alert Notifications keep us well informed and the employee training is excellent. The prioritization by asset used in vulnerability scanning makes it very easy to focus on remediation that will have the most impact. Being able to take our organizations context and the assets importance into account during prioritization makes remediation much more focused on reduction of critical risks.
