Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Azure:

Go through the services offered by Microsoft Azure. If you are looking for complete SDLC platform, then go ahead with Azure DevOps platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Azure DevOps is probably the best service available right now when we compare the cloud side of things. It is a complete platform which comes in handy for every business to handle the entire Software Development Life Cycle. Within Azure DevOps, we have Azure Board that helps in the Project Management side of things; Azure Pipelines for automation within the project, and Azure Test Cases for managing the test cases.

The ROI is also higher with Azure DevOps as we can have frequent code deployment and the time to recover from an incident is also very less when compared to having separate platforms like GitHub and Jira together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

Azure gives you the assurance of a super-efficient computer with enough storage for you to perform your duties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

IaaS (Azure) systems transport your company's processing capacity from your data center or office to the cloud, in contrast to SaaS platforms where the end-user is consuming information (for instance, Office 365). Azure requires specialized management and upkeep, including server monitoring and patching, just like the majority of cloud service providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Azure solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a facility provider, we provide our clients with many facilities including software development and cloud computing, and Azure helps us take our client's business to the cloud for very efficient computing power which can be difficult to provide with in-office systems for a fair price. What do you like best about Microsoft Azure?

The robust plans that it offers. Azure storage has the best ductile, safe, secure and performance - efficient storage services in the cloud. It is very simple to change the settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Azure?

The VM size names are very confusing. Terraform support is also something that lags a lot. It doesn't work as smoothly as it does with AWS. Premium storage grouping making it just a cheap marketing tactic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

When it comes to databases, I think everyone has started their SQL skills with MYSQL. When I was learning databases, I have worked on the MySQL platform, and it was an excellent experience, and literally, I enjoyed doing it. And now, when we are doing multiple things with the Azure platform, and yes, it is providing various types of databases to us, MYSQL is one of them; I'm personally very much satisfied with this. To work with Azure MYSQL, there is no issue of security, it is very easy going. For me, it is very easy to understand, learn and one can become an expert with this. And also all this is available with cloud facilities which makes more suitable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Database as a Service (DBaaS) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Well, We are managing the data with this service; we are using this in the ETL process for storing and retrieving the data and managing it. Sometimes, MYSQL act as a source, or sometimes it is acting as a destination, and yes, further, we are using this data for computation or presenting it in an appropriate way.
