I dislike the way this was presented to us as a totally hands free solution, the product its self is fine, pre/post sales support has been rough.

1 Limited Flexibility- While it is highly scalable it may not offer same level of flexibility as some other database platforms .This may limit the ability to customize the platform 2 Support- The platform support may be limited for users who are not using Oracle Cloud infrastructure. 3 Cost- My Sql Database may have higher cost compared to some other open source database platforms. This may be concern for small budget conscious teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The cost of Azure services, I would like you to support small businesses like us with long-term credits. The complexity of some of the Azure tools and services, which can require a steeper learning curve, and integration with third-party tools can be tricky, resulting in a less seamless experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Limited control on database like we have full control on RDBMS but in this case we depend on solution provider of DBaaS.

What do you like best about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

If we use DBaaS then there's very minimum downtime or may be no downtime and also we are free from handling any complex data management tasks. And the security is also more if we use DBaaS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

A bigger disadvantage of DBaaS is that our data is with another organization which may use it for there own purpose. If one is using DBaaS then one must trust the other organization whose service is being used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Database as a Service (DBaaS) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's very easy to manage the data using DBaaS. As the amount of data being produced is increased tremendously managing data has become much difficult and if we use DBaaS then all work is done the data is managed so easily and I'm easily able to analyze my data.
