What do you like best about CoderPad?

I like that I am able to have seamless interactions with interview candidates. We are able to run their code and also adapt the environment to whichever language they prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoderPad?

My only hesitation with the continued use of coderpad is the presence of non-paid alternatives. The most common one I use is replit, I just do not see why it would make sense to pay for coderpad if I can use replit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Molly Lindsay of CoderPad

Hi Nazer - Thanks for taking the time for your review. We should have some new features in CoderPad in the next few weeks that I think you will find valuable, stay tuned! Also, thanks for the feedback on the plans. We do have a free plan, which I hope you're taking advantage of, and we're looking for more ways to make that more valuable, I'd love your thoughts on this.

What do you like best about CoderPad?

CoderPad has an excellent coding interface with multiple languages supported, code completion suggestions, side-by-side notetaking space, and interview playback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoderPad?

One area for improvement is support for multiple files that reference each other. Right now, we rely on adding test cases at the bottom of the file, which is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Molly Lindsay of CoderPad

Hi Kelsey - thank you for the idea, I know it's given our Product team some ideas to consider!

What do you like best about CoderPad?

Many languages offered. Easy to add question. Easy to share link to interviewee and co-interviewer. Sessions recorded and easy to play back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoderPad?

When we change the programming language the question disappears. I think this is due to it opening a new tab and this being a confusing UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Molly Lindsay of CoderPad

Anaël - Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. Regarding automated tests, have you tried out CoderPad Screen, which is now included in your CoderPad subscription?

Anaël, you mentioned reorganizing your workstation, do you envision something like pods so you can reorganize them an have everything on the same page?

What do you like best about CoderPad?

Live coding is working very well. The new multi-file feature is great and makes the test capabilities much better, we now can test candidate in a environment much closer to a real one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CoderPad?

The price is pretty high for the usage we have now - worth it if you use all the credits, but not if you have just 4/5 hiring to make in the year. Sad that there is no middle-ground for less high-scale hirings Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Molly Lindsay of CoderPad

Hi Karim - Thanks for your review. I'm glad you've checked out the multi-file environment. We built it to make interviews as realistic as possible, and I'm glad to hear that's what it is doing.

As for the plans, we're evaluating our plans to make CoderPad more feasible for teams with smaller hiring needs. Our VP of Product, Frank, will contact you for more feedback.
