CoderPad Pros and Cons

When asked "brain teasers", the shared text pad does not feel fully enabled. It probably exists, but would be nice to more forcefully show interviews how to create "saved problems"... its something you only think of when it is too late. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coderpad has a comprehensive list of programming languages you can choose from, so it is very flexible. It is also very smooth with many people working on the same code pad simultaneoulsy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found the CodinGame interface very solid and consistent. I enjoyed how everything was structured and easily found my way around (navigation). It was such a joyful experience, even though it was an interview assessment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good coding environment, ability to switch programming languages, IDE autocomplete, warnings and help functionality. Ability to replay the recording with varying speeds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Another person is not able to see when I am typing something that is not currently visible on the screen. Should have an indicator to scroll up/down to see the new changes. Also, annoying temporary disconnections. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I am able to have seamless interactions with interview candidates. We are able to run their code and also adapt the environment to whichever language they prefer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only hesitation with the continued use of coderpad is the presence of non-paid alternatives. The most common one I use is replit, I just do not see why it would make sense to pay for coderpad if I can use replit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
