What I like the most is the way they handle assessments with different options to check for cheating. Also you can record the screen, to see strenghts and weaker points. Really Complete one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Although it's intented for developers and the challenges there are quite amazing, there is a lack of assessments for other roles in IT (such as DevOps, IT Product Management, IT Delivery manager, or even project manager) I think this could give the product new segments... but you can do your customs. In the past, we normally did live code challenges with the candidates, where they had to do a certain work-related exercise. This was very time-consuming, especially when you have a lot of different candidates. With Coderbyte, you can improve this process a lot, because the candidates can do the exercises at home asynchronously and you can check the results later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coderbyte for Employers?

There are not enough challenges for certain frameworks, like for example vue. It can happen, that other companies used the same challenge already and the candidate knows it already. Easy to configure assessments that consist of both open ended questions, programming challenges in our case we used JavaScript, React and c# and the video playback feature is really cool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coderbyte for Employers?

Not much to dislike, the ala-carte features that had additional add-on pricing were cost prohibitive in my case, with a small team and budget. It would be nice to download and save data in an easier export format.
