I wish they had mentioned earlier in the interviewing process that they run a screenshot monitoring tool on our work computer. I suppose this is expected when you are working on an hourly basis but having the information earlier in the selection process would make things more transparent.

I’ve had my turn on pretty much all the well-known freelance sites we have right now. While upwork was fine a couple years back, I steer clear of it now. Tried out for toptal and gave up the thought within the grueling screenings itself coz it all felt so mechanical with no human element.I prefer the working environment at Clouddevs to all else. It took a while in vetting process and after that they took some time in getting me best match with clients. While it's understandable that finding the right fit for both parties (Freelancer and Client) requires careful consideration. Being a freelancer patience is essential as this process might be lengthy some time.
