There are a lot of features that are missing since the product is still new. Currently, the two most important are the Threat Prevention exceptions that are really limited and lack of log export functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product is great since it allows to deliver the most of security value at the fastest speed, it reduces an operational load in terms of provision, installation, management, patching and hardware replacement by this increasing an uptime and time to deliver to market. It will also provide cloud native availability and allows you not to bother with the sizing and location capacity as long as you stick with Harmony Connect. The price is reasonable.

Last but not least, there is an option to manage Harmony Connect from the centralised management station which allows to apply an existing policies and have a single pane of glass for your network security Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Check Point CloudGuard Harmony Connect (CloudGuard Connect)?

An improvement could be made to achieve better coverage in such complicated regions as Asia Pacific, China and Russia - some PoP locations might create complicated traffic flows and impact the latency and load on network infrastructure even further.

Advanced detalization of log information is missing in my opinion but CheckPoint team is definitely open for constructive critics and happy to made requested changes.

Sometimes some features are missing, which you do have with a FW.

It is software that gives us enterprise-level security for our branches as a SAAS. We have always updated and scalable system used.

We didn't notice any significant deficiency. It was fun for us that notices on our pcs were in German , because we have used Frankfurt as our gw.

I have worked with Check point Harmony Connect, it is a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solution, which unifies multiple cloud-delivered network security products to prevent sophisticated cyberattacks, and simplify policy management.

Cloud Guard or Harmony Connect is SAAS Offering from CheckPoint. To protect Secure access using multiple Security Solutions from Checkpoint, which provide numerous Security solutions such as NGFW, Web Gateway, ZTNA, Email/Browser Protection, DLP, Threat Prevention, and DNS Security.

Single Agent is installed on Endpoint or User can connect via browser to access this services

Checkpoint has integration with CDN and SD-WAN, so traffic is being routed without adding latency

Access to services are provided via a secure tunnel

ZTNA controls network access and is also used for connecting Data Center and Cloud for the remote user. The policy is created based on application, and access is defined for each user or security group

Web-based access is control using a Cloud proxy solution provided by Checkpoint.

Broker Server is installed in Cloud and On-Prem for providing access to the remote user using ZTNA.

NGFW for allowing/blocking depending upon retirement.

Access to Datacenter and Cloud via ZTNA adds latency as all traffic is routed to Cloud Guard. Policy validation is done on the cloud, and accordingly, access is provided.
