My favorite thing about GitKraken Client is its intuitive user interface. This makes Git easy to learn and use, even for beginners. I also appreciate powerful visualization tools, which help me understand my Git history and spot potential conflicts. I personally love the following features and use them on a daily basis...

- Search feature, that allows us to search through all commits, making it effortless to find specific results or navigate through the commit history.

- Inbuilt conflict resolver is highly intuitive and user friendly which simplifies the process of resolving merge conflicts effectively.

What do you like best about GitKraken Desktop?

I've a savvy Git commandline user, however I like GitKraken for making my life easier in my day-to-day code review tasks.

* It might get quite slow on bigger repositories

What do you like best about GitKraken Desktop?

Gitkraken is the best tool to manage the GitHub repositories and code using their user-friendly UI. The visualization they provide for all different branches and code updates is really useful for our day-to-day programming life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gitkraken is already the best tool ever for version control but yes there are some things they can improve on:

What do you like best about GitKraken Desktop?

Gitkraken is a nice git client. You can easily manage your projects using it. It has a nice new functions, like GLO (it is like Trello). So you can easily connect your project to this boards.

I love this function because since I'm using it I can´t forget anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitKraken Desktop?

The only think I don't like at all is about pricings. The software has a free option and a paid one. I don't like the prices at all. It should be included, for instance in GitHub payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering GitKraken Desktop:

If you are a multiplatform user or you like to work in Linux, Gitkraken is your Git Gui client. You won't need to learn Git codes anymore. The software is easy to use and you don't need to keep learning for a lot of. Now Is including a lot of features you should love, like GLO.

Is easy to rollback your gits also. You just need to rollback all your changes or even delete the current branche and create a new one.

The only bad thing is you have a free and paid user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GitKraken Desktop solving and how is that benefiting you?

GitKraken is a Git client built on Electron, allowing it to run natively on Windows, Mac and Linux desktop systems. This is nice because you can work whatever your system is.

I usually had problems with my projects until I discovered Gitkraken. I tried to save the work and sometimes I had problems trying to come back to older versions. Now this problem is solved.

Gitkraken offers a lot for the user, though it was initially a bit overwhelming having everything at your fingertips represented by icons. I quickly have gotten used to the features and their corresponding icons. The only real downside is that private repos are only accessible with the paid tier. What do you like best about GitKraken Desktop?

The UI makes it so clear that I would recommend this for beginners who are still learning the git basics, it helped me a lot to visualize branches and understand some concepts when I was learning them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitKraken Desktop?

I feel like the price is a bit too much, maybe if you could come up with cheaper plans that use less features such as the Boards or the Workspaces that some people (including me) don't even use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GitKraken Desktop?

Their interface is clean, modern, and very easy to use as it is very structured. It is a much better version than the regular git clients you can get for free.
