Sometimes the documentation appears too vague which results in confusion and getting lost.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

The concept of Serverless itself is something that intrigues me a lot. So when I was working on breaking our monolith executer servers into more flexible and agile microservices architecture, I chanced upon this wonderful concept. And AWS Lambda has helped us to scale limitlessly. By using AWS serverless functions, we could -

- serve maximum concurrent requests

- process high-performance tasks on the server without being afraid of any failure or the whole server down

- make our scaling streamlined; The previous architecture was forcing us to do vertical scaling which was very costly. Switching to Lambda architecture made costing as on-demand and not a recurring one. Thus we have saved a lot of budget without compromising on the performance.

- made our operarations faster as those are running on individual lambda resources, they have become much faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

Honestly speaking, I'm delighted with AWS Lambda's services. There are no major issues with the platform, though I felt the learning curve could have been less stiff, and being a AWS product obviously the documentation is bit long and needs some proper navigation. Another thing is it's relatively new architecture so the community is still growing and there are some issues which might need long hunting for solutions. Other than those I cant really think of any other issue as such and these issues aren't any showstopper, they are there with almost all the tech frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
