Time consuming sometimes, takes a long time to solve issues. Limits the use of the service due to general issues.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

The debug part is a bit hacky.

UI is not quite intutive.

AWS is event driven function and provides easy integration with AWS cloud or on-premise services and is pretty cost-effective, almost $0.20/Million. Running serverless infrastructure is a costly business and AWS does impose some limitations, however, few of those can be extended/relaxed with a request. AWS Lambda are very easy to set up and deploy without any server dependencies and on-premises environment. This helps for event based trigger activties and easy to activate and deactivate them based on our usage and is highly cost effectiveness. We have been using lambda for authentication challenges and multiple customizations where the normal approach couldn't work lambda takes care of that. Without lambdas, a lot of automation will be not possible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The point I would like AWS to take care of is to increase the timeout as 15 mins sometimes is too less and for faster transactions in lambda sometime API Gateway, 29 seconds become a big blocker.
