- Easy to deploy and configure and analyze the data from various devices.

- Also the registration of IoT devices is simple and easy

What do you dislike about AWS IoT Analytics?

Nothing in this service that is to be disliked it is just perfect when we have large amount of data to be analysed like in TB's then it slow downs and hangs a bit, and one more thing is pricing that is bit higher.

What problems is AWS IoT Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have more than 100 devices deployed on the Production, onsite and to monitor that all that devices are currently giving their 100 percent we are taking the data previously to google sheets but after integration to AWS IoT we are able to gather the data and analyze this all data at scale within a fraction of minutes.

What do you like best about AWS IoT Analytics?

Aws IoT service is a great off-the-shelf solution where you don't need to think about the infrastructure just plug in and go. Especially for the startup where fast shipping is really important. What problems is AWS IoT Analytics solving and how is that benefiting you?

I worked with an electricity sharing platform(solar electricity) where real-time communication was very very important like if a meter went out of money, we needed to let the customer know to recharge the meter at no time so that they could stay productive. What do you like best about AWS IoT Analytics?

The best part is the real time analysis and the inbuilt predictive abilities along with the data crunching and data cleaning features ! Helps identify trends and is really useful in my area of Forecasting !! as well as trend prediction - there are also workarounds for very niche and specific methods like Holt's linear, simple exponential smoothening, Holt's winter linear forecasting ! What do you dislike about AWS IoT Analytics?

It hangs a bit and slows down often since the data load is pretty heavy , also you need good system integration with the Amazon web services cloud system. I would like to see some more pre-installed directories similar to python Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. I am basically using it to analyze waste analysis or smart dustbins - I get the data from the bins when they are full, what kind of composition of waste is present and how much is predicted in the coming weeks or months and accordingly help the waste management team

It's one of the best analytical platforms. The IoT systems are full of unstructured data, which makes it difficult to analyze. But This service gives a very user-friendly environment that is well managed as well as cost-effective. We don't have to worry about cost, complexity. It is also scallable.
