What do you like best about AWS Cloud Security: Security, Identity and Compliance?
It has several options to learn and adopt AWS Cloud, especially security, we can create different roles and assigns different level of access using policies and if a new member has been added we have to just assign him a role with one click and it's done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IAM - Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds another layer of security to AWS IAM by providing fine-grained control over user permissions.
Security Services: In comparison to other cloud vendors in the market, AWS offers many security services.
like Amazon guard duty and Amazon inspector.

Customised policies and RBAC model. Role based authentication is more secure way to authenticate. STS for AWS cli using role based access is best feature and can be integrated with SSO and MFA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

AWS roles are much complicated for EKS, ECS service and elastic beanstalk service and few services. We can't have much control on the permissions and privileges to customise as per organisations requirement . We need to use AWS managed roles as mandatory. Mostly I have used IAM for giving permission of My SQS to configure my lambda function for it. So whenever I will call SQS from lambda function. it will call co figured lambda function Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?
In cloud environment where security is one of the major concern and need today aws iam is like a blessing where you can provide access to a user as per the needs i.e. provide access only on those services which are needed instead of providing generalised access.
The best part is you can provide policy based access to the user by adding specific policies to the role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?
The only drawback I fell in aws IAM is that a user cannot add more than 10 policies to a role i.e a role cannot have more than 10 permissions. I believe this should be improved because there are use cases where a role may have more than 10 policies attached. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?
At any point in time, users will need different levels of access to the AWS services, and as an admin, you have to ensure that you only give access privileges to the users that require them. For me , I find AWS Identity and Access Management service to be very useful in assigning different rights to different users.
It is much simpler to assign roles and privileges in AWS Identity and Access Management service than other solutions that will need deep-coding skills. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)?
Well, you need to have first-hand information and a good background of experience in AWS Identity and Access Management environment before you can start using it. So, you should seek knowledge first before opting for this solution because hiring someone else to do the work for you will cost you a lot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the best part of IAM I liked while integration with AWS API gateway auth as IAM, that I can sign with social identities with Cognito IDP and helps my user to grant role-based access for some of my AWS resources Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

so far no dislike IAM, it's really too easy to use and pretty simple to understand each and every term within IAM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
