"A different level of utility"
What do you like best about Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)?

The best thing I would say would be the ability to not worry about scalibility. I was stunned when I found out that it was easy to set up, and alongside that, it had dynamic scaling in cases of severe traffic. Truly amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)?

I think the one thing that was difficult to work with was the costing. I feel that unless my deployed application wasn't making it up for me, the cost was from my own pocket. But nonetheless, I feel that the utilities given are worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great DB for Scalability and Performance"
Product Reviewed: Amazon Aurora
What do you like best about Amazon Aurora?

The best part that I like about Amazon Aurora is how it scales. With my old setup, scaling means spending hous meeting with configurration and hoping nothing broke. With Auroa its all automatic. It scales up the storage and processing power to handle it. My queries have become faster and more responsive now. OVerall performance has increased. If you have an application that has unpredicable bursts than you Aurora is the best choice to go with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Aurora?

The only thing that i dislike about Amazon Aurora is that it doesnt provides same level of flexibility as my old MySQL used to provide. We cant do very specific database configurations. Rest all is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
