What do you like best about Arvixe Web Hosting?

It was a cost effective , had a decent set of features, and was relatively easy to easy for the console.

We used them to host an e-commerce website and it got us off the ground. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arvixe Web Hosting?

The quality of support appeared to decline and when you looked around it was hard to want to stay around for that long.

Preformance was alright but again--unless you have a specific reason it seems they're just OK at best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing, they killed my 2 internet sites, backup files are not working, lying to clients, 3 days their super senior specialists are not returning, when they returning, only sorry, but can't help Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arvixe Web Hosting?

Absolutely unhelpful, unprofessional technical support, they had unlimited disk space and today they told that only 30gb I have to use, killed my 2 sites don't have backups. My site was attacked on November, in December asked the to return from back up from November, returned it from April so all content from April gone Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It seemed to work at first but once they changed servers during an “Upgrade” configurations were never the same and essentially have had no email capabilities the last 3 years. Yes Years. If you have tried to contact them for support to actually correct something I believe you would understand why 3 years is correct Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Arvixe was very afordable and the service was excellent, especially the support. They still are affordable despite rising prices, and also offer a pretty large amount of services under their plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arvixe Web Hosting?

Their support is still suspect to me, but improving. When they were purchased by their parent company (I believe they still own them) support was awful. I literally went through support issue well over a month with no response. They had changed from call techs to chat only. The chat techs have always been courteous but to do anything above the most basic issues, the tickey would have to be escalated to the next level with very little response back on updates. I liked the price when I first started with Arvix. They came to my web dev school and provided a demo, then had excellent student discounts for the first year. This was an excellent marketing tactic to get me started on Arvix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Now that I have been using Arvix for a few years and have built multiple websites with their hosting services, I find their customer service to be very poor and their security measures to also be lacking. I have gotten had client websites get hacked multiple times and Arvix was not helpful at all during these times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
