"Aruba Instant On Access Points Manage WiFi network on your hand"
What do you like best about Aruba Instant On Access Points?
For instance, I deployed AP22s across a small office and had them running in under 30 minutes, no controller needed. The Smart Mesh feature is another gem; in a warehouse setup, I extended coverage to dead zones without laying new cables, and clients stayed connected seamlessly at decent speeds, like 300-400 Mbps. I also love the plug-and-play vibe—pre-configured security settings like WPA3 and guest access controls mean I don’t have to spend hours hardening the network from scratch. What do you dislike about Aruba Instant On Access Points?
As an engineer who’s worked with Aruba Instant On Access Points, there are a few things I dislike that can make my job trickier than it needs to be. First off, the lack of advanced configuration options bugs me. For example, I can’t fine-tune radio settings—like adjusting channel width or power levels—as much as I’d like, which is a letdown when I’m troubleshooting interference in a crowded area. I ran into this with an AP11 in a busy shop; overlapping networks nearby slowed things down, and I had limited tools to fix it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
