I've always liked how user-friendly it is, and how it supports more complex use cases such as Javascript integration and xAPI. The recent addition of AI tools and the Accessibility checker further strengthen the product. There really is very little I have not been able to create with Articulate 360. I allows me to bring my ideas to life quickly and easily, and with great results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Historically, the pace of upgrades and bug fixes has been a little slow at times. But recently this has improved dramatically - with several new features being added that I didn't know I needed but are now indispensible, like the IF/THEN trigger condition and the corner radius tool. What I love most about Storyline 360 is the extreme customization: every detail can be adjusted according to my needs. I also love the level of interactivity that can be offered to learners! In reality, the only limit is my imagination — and that's precisely what I find exciting! And as a bonus, the support is incredible: super responsive, educational, and always friendly. What I regret a little is that there is no native solution to track multiple quizzes in the same module on the LMS. It's a real challenge at first, but ultimately, it pushed me to search, test, and find my own solution. I came out proud, and with a better mastery of the tool. In fact, that's what I love about Storyline: everything is possible, provided you take the time to think about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think the ease of use and ability to easily publish to a number of different specifications such as SCORM 1.2/2004, xAPI is good and has helped many people build LMS compliant courses.
The feature set is steadily improving (could always be faster) and the ability to develop interactive and engaging content without having to know HTML, JS and CSS has helped Rise and Storyline gain in popularity.
The improved ability to create accessible content is a big improvement in recent years, and the recent addition of the accessibility checker will help many users, unfamiliar with accessibility requirements, start understand those requirements and why the requirements exist. Anything that can be done to improve the content being produced by thousands of users who are ignorant to 508/WCAG requirements will have a great impact for users using assistive technology to access content. My biggest gripe is the speed in which issues and requested features are implemented. I think this is getting better, but it was not uncommon to wait a year or two to get a bug fixed and by this time the users had developed a work around to the issue.
A good example is the numerically controlled corner radius on rectangles. We'd asked for and waited years for this. I think things are improving, but I do remember logging issues for the software and being told they were feature requests, especially for accessibility related things. I think the focus and understanding of accessibility has improved at Articulate and they seem to have upskilled or brought in the required expertise, and so less of my "issues" raised are called "feature requests".
I'm also not a big fan of Rise 360. It's mobile responsiveness is great, but it's feature set is still pretty basic. I don't like that every Rise course looks like a Rise course. It's great for Articulate branding, but not great for end users as eLearning looks homogenised. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an eLearning professional with several years of experience—and having tested a wide range of tools—I can say with complete honesty that Articulate 360 is one of the best platforms on the market today.
What I love most is its versatility and ease of use. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned instructional designer, learning to use Articulate 360 is intuitive and straightforward. It allows me to bring any idea to life: from quick, responsive microlearning courses that adapt beautifully to mobile devices, to immersive and dynamic experiences, such as games, branching scenarios, simulations, case studies, and storytelling-based learning.
From a project management perspective, Articulate Review has been a game-changer. No more lengthy version control, scattered documents, or endless email threads. Now, feedback and revisions happen directly within the course, in an organized, clear, and collaborative way.
And as if that weren’t enough, the recent integration of AI-powered tools has taken productivity to a whole new level. These features help me design faster, with more creativity and precision.
And one more exciting update: Articulate now includes a feature called Localization, which allows you to translate courses into multiple languages with just one click. This powerful tool not only saves time and money, but also makes it easier to reach global audiences without relying on external translation services.
To me, Articulate 360 isn’t just a tool—it’s my go-to creative partner. I would confidently recommend it to anyone working in eLearning or looking to get started in this exciting and impactful field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although I’m an enthusiastic and loyal user of Articulate 360, like any tool, it has areas that could be improved. One of the main disadvantages I’ve encountered relates to the use of its artificial intelligence feature.
In my day-to-day work, I often receive content that has already been approved by the client, with clear instructions that the text must be kept exactly as provided. However, when I upload that content using Articulate's AI, it completely transforms the text—it rewrites, restructures, and often alters the tone or original intent.
This becomes a challenge when clients require strict fidelity to the approved content, as I end up needing to redo the material or avoid using the AI functionality altogether, which limits its usefulness in those scenarios.
I would love to see an AI option that is more assistive rather than interventionist—one that can suggest how to structure the content into screens or blocks, without modifying the actual text unless I specifically request it.
Being able to choose between a "structure-only suggestion" mode and a "full rewrite" mode would make this tool even more powerful and better suited to a variety of workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a learning designer, I've found Articulate 360 to be an essential tool in my instructional design toolkit. The suite offers a great balance of flexibility and user-friendliness, especially with Rise 360 and Storyline 360. Rise 360 is ideal for quickly building responsive, modern-looking courses, while Storyline 360 offers deeper customization for interactive learning.
Collaboration features and content library assets have streamlined my workflow, and I appreciate the frequent updates and community support. While there’s a learning curve with Storyline for beginners, the overall experience has been positive and well worth the investment.
Articulate 360 continues to help me create professional, engaging content efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mac Compatibility- As a Mac user, It really bothers me that Articulate apps are not natively supported on macOS. Mac users need to run it via Parallels or Boot Camp, which adds cost and complexity or use a different device (a Windows computer). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its interface is very similar with MS Powerpoint, and it makes the user easy to create contents.
And mostly I compoase the contents with PPT at the first, and then convert it to the Articulate360, it has fairly exchange from PPT to Articulate program.
Some logics and tricks sometimes don't work and need to learn the software, once you learn how to use it then it will help you a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not perfectly optimized with MS PPT, so during the editing, copy+paste work doesn't fit between Powerpoint and Articulate.
And Articulate doesn't support arrange guideline like PPT, it makes the user harder to arrange photos and shapes.
Some logics are very trciky so hard to understand how it work.
And the file size is too big to share and even run the program via working laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Articulate 360 makes course creation feel easy, flexible, and genuinely creative. I especially love the range of tools available in one platform—Storyline for complex builds, Rise for sleek, responsive content, and Review 360 for seamless stakeholder collaboration. The templates and content library save tons of time, and the intuitive interface means I can focus more on learning outcomes than on troubleshooting. It’s a huge asset to any instructional design team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish Articulate 360 were more intuitive to use as a full LMS solution. Right now, we use it solely as a design tool, and have to export SCORM files and upload them into WorkRamp, which can be a bit of a hassle. It would be great if there were built-in reporting and hosting capabilities so we could track learner progress without relying on a separate platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Articulate 360 has been a game changer for us, particularly with its Localization feature and AI Assistant. As part of Malaysia's national initiative to educate the public on e-Invoicing, we needed to deliver eLearning content in four languages — English, Malay, Simplified Chinese, and Tamil. Articulate made the entire process seamless — from content creation, review, translation, validation, to publishing — all within a single platform. The AI Assistant also offers valuable content suggestions and prompts, helping us speed up our authoring process. This has made content development faster, more scalable, and ideal for multilingual projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While the Localization feature is helpful, it still requires manual checks to ensure accuracy in translation nuances and cultural relevance, especially for Asian languages like Malay, Chinese, and Tamil. We look forward to seeing improvements in contextual accuracy, more advanced language support, and expanded capabilities such as media localization in future updates. I’m a digital course designer and have been using Articulate 360 for quite a while — I honestly love it and totally recommend it! Whether it’s interactive quizzes, scenario simulations, drag-and-drop activities, or branching paths, you can build it all the way you want. It gives you so much creative freedom.
At our company, we use Articulate 360 to create lots of highly interactive content for clients. Storyline 360 is super flexible, and Rise 360 is perfect for quickly building responsive courses. It’s made our content development process so much smoother. If you’re working on e-learning projects, definitely check it out! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Storyline 360 is great for building rich, interactive courses, it does have a learning curve. That’s why we currently focus more on Articulate - Rise 360 and its AI Assistant, which help us create content faster and more easily Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) I am a big fan of AI features - AI Quizzes, Key takeaways , and Voices of storyline.
2) The AI voices are quite a relief
3) I love the vast chances with JavaScript in articulate
4) Also I love to make use of the different tools in articulate and I love the ideation process
5) I am yet to explore the new features storyline has introduced recently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1) I would like to have an update in the video trimming feature. It is little user unfriendly when it comes to editing video.
2) Though there are really good voices like Matilda, most of the young voices has an accent or tone at the end, which is repetitive and makes it annoying.
3) Also the timeline can be more accessible especially when it comes to move the components and shorten the length.
4) Each time when updating the AI text to speech, the CC gets regenerated (Thought we are unchecking the checkbox for the same) which makes adjust the CC each time.
5) The CC generation is not that great, since the number of words are not uniform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
